Genealogy Lessons Beginner's Course: Using Libraries, pedigree charts and recordkeeping, conducting research surveys, vital records, the Federal Census, and using computerized sources. Intermediate Course: Church & Cemetery Records, complied sources, court, probate, tax records and Wills, and using artifacts to aid research. Advanced Course: Land Records & Maps, Military Records, Passenger & Immigration Lists, dating photographs. All classes combine original historical research methods with the use of computerized resources. Genealogies make a wonderful gift!

Trace your roots your way! Private lessons: $125/person One-on-one instruction for those at any level of research capability. Private lessons give the student full attention on their ancestral research challenges. Intensive study with confidentiality. Group lessons (3 or more) $95/person A circle of family and/or friends is the typical composition for group lessons. Adult Literacy in English Proficiency in English opens up many opportunities! Classes can include reading, writing, pronunciation, speaking, vocabulary & simple arithmetic and are tailored to each student's needs. Gain the skills necessary to study for the GED, citizenship, a driver's license, or to apply for a job. Sessions are tailored to the individual's specific needs and goals. Classes are held weekly. College Scholarship Searching & Coaching Attention High School Seniors and those in College and Graduate School! Need sources of funding? Wonder where the opportunities lie and what you can apply for? Le Librarian provides college scholarship searching and coaching*** services to busy high school seniors, and those already in college, or graduate school. Searching for scholarships you are eligible for can be a full-time job! You will be interviewed to determine your plans, goals, and background, all important to your ultimate application for possible scholarships. A search will be performed based on the information you give during your interview. What you will receive: A customized matching of scholarships you are eligible to apply for. Want to take it a step further? Coaching provides one-on-one help with 1) the applications process, itself, and 2) with direction on how to face a scholarship interview and do well. Remember, you will be competing with many students. Are you ready to put your best foot forward and compete? Do it right and learn HOW to win. Le Librarian's job is to identify the scholarships you are eligible to apply for. Your job is to apply for the scholarships we match for you, compete and win! *Returning to school after a long absence? In the workforce and looking to fund a new career track at college?
